Job Description

Are you energetic, customer-focused, and looking for flexible weekend work? Hamilton Sports Group is seeking enthusiastic Event Ushers to join our team for professional stadium events at Tim Hortons Field. This casual, part-time role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, thrive on providing excellent guest service, and are available for weekend shifts. As an Event Usher, you will be the welcoming face of our venues, ensuring guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience at every event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist guests with finding their seats and navigating the venue.
  • Provide accurate information regarding venue facilities, event schedules, and policies.
  • Monitor assigned sections for any safety concerns, potential issues, or disruptive behavior.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures consistently and courteously.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues.
  • Assist with crowd control and emergency evacuation procedures when necessary.
  • Collaborate with security, medical, and other event staff to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, primarily evenings and weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or event-based role.
  • Knowledge of stadium operations or professional sports events.
  • First Aid and/or CPR certification.
