Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about great service? DoorDash is looking for enthusiastic Delivery Courier Mystery Shoppers to help us evaluate and enhance the quality, speed, and overall experience of our delivery service in the Dumbo, Brooklyn area. In this unique part-time role, you will discreetly place orders through the DoorDash platform, track the delivery process, and provide comprehensive feedback on various aspects, from order accuracy and courier professionalism to delivery time and food condition upon arrival. Your insights will be crucial in helping us maintain our high standards and continually improve our platform for customers, merchants, and Dashers. This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence for the actual delivery orders and remote capabilities for report submission and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Discreetly place food and grocery orders via the DoorDash app as a regular customer within the designated Dumbo, Brooklyn area.
- Accurately record and report on all aspects of the delivery process, including order placement, acceptance time, courier arrival, delivery time, and food presentation.
- Evaluate the professionalism, communication, and adherence to delivery instructions by the assigned Dasher.
- Assess the accuracy of the order, the condition of items upon arrival, and adherence to temperature requirements (if applicable).
- Provide detailed, objective, and constructive written feedback using a standardized reporting system within specified deadlines.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding your role, observations, and all company-related information.
- Participate in occasional debriefings or training sessions as required (these may be conducted remotely).
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills for clear, concise, and objective reporting.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications, particularly food delivery platforms.
- Ability to maintain objectivity and provide unbiased feedback.
- Reliable access to a smartphone with data connectivity.
- Reliable access to a residence or safe location within the Dumbo, Brooklyn area for receiving deliveries.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a mystery shopper or in a quality assurance role.
- Familiarity with the DoorDash platform as a regular customer.
- Flexibility to place orders during various times, including peak and off-peak hours, weekdays and weekends.
- Ability to follow complex instructions precisely and adapt to changing scenarios.
