Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Shopify Operations Manager with a strong focus on supply chain efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our Shopify platform, from order processing to final delivery, and optimizing all logistical aspects to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of both e-commerce platforms and supply chain best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all operational aspects of our Shopify Plus platform, ensuring seamless order processing, fulfillment, and an exceptional customer experience.
- Develop, implement, and refine supply chain strategies specifically tailored for our Shopify channels, aiming to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Oversee comprehensive inventory management, accurate demand forecasting, and efficient replenishment processes for Shopify-specific product lines.
- Collaborate closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and other partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Shopify operations and supply chain performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, IT, and customer service teams to align Shopify operations with overall business objectives and promotional calendars.
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, new e-commerce trends, and innovations in supply chain management to maintain a competitive edge.
- Lead or coordinate cross-functional efforts and projects aimed at enhancing Shopify functionality and improving supply chain workflows.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) managing complex Shopify Plus operations, including backend configuration, app integration, and theme customization.
- Demonstrable expertise in e-commerce supply chain management principles, including warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and fulfillment strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to extract actionable insights from Shopify analytics and other operational data.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic retail and e-commerce environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems integrated with e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and global logistics.
- Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
