Job Description
Are you a driven, enthusiastic individual eager to kickstart a rewarding career in recruitment? Randstad Canada is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Resourcer to join our dynamic team in Sault Ste. Marie. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with no prior experience in recruitment who possesses a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting people with opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Actively source and identify potential candidates using various channels, including online databases, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability, experience, and career aspirations.
- Manage and update candidate records within our applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and current information.
- Collaborate closely with experienced Recruitment Consultants to understand client requirements and role specifications.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Assist with scheduling interviews and preparing candidates for client meetings.
- Provide exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market intelligence to inform sourcing strategies.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of motivation, resilience, and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

- Post-secondary education in any discipline (e.g., Business, Human Resources, Arts).
