Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on elevators and escalators.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Execute repairs and replacements of components, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications.
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for all service, repair, and installation work.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize work processes and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as local and national codes.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a mechanical, electrical, or field service role.
- Vocational training or an associate's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience working with control systems or PLCs.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
