Job Description
Are you passionate about sustainable tourism, hospitality, and working in a stunning natural environment? Bingham Riverhouse is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Eco-Tourism Lodge Assistant to join our team. This unique role offers the opportunity to live and work in a beautiful, serene location, with accommodation provided on-site. As an integral part of our team, you will contribute to providing an exceptional and eco-conscious experience for our guests, supporting daily operations, and helping to maintain the beauty and sustainability of our ‘riverhouse’ environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and provide a warm, personalized welcome.
- Support the daily operations of the lodge, including front desk, guest services, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across guest areas, public spaces, and assigned accommodation.
- Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring a high standard of presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in the organization and execution of eco-friendly guest activities and experiences (e.g., guided walks, local tours, sustainability workshops).
- Monitor and report on lodge inventory, ensuring supplies are adequately stocked while minimizing waste.
- Support minor maintenance tasks and ensure all facilities are in excellent working order.
- Act as a local ambassador, providing guests with information about the local area, sustainable practices, and nearby attractions.
- Collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.
