Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled E-commerce Personalization Engraver to join our Bradenton fulfillment center. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced laser engraving machines to personalize a wide range of products for our e-commerce customers. You will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality, customized items, ensuring precision, adherence to design specifications, and efficient workflow. This position requires a keen eye for detail, technical aptitude, and a commitment to producing perfect results every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain laser engraving machines (CO2, Fiber, YAG) for product personalization.
- Load and unload materials and products efficiently and safely onto engraving machines.
- Verify product specifications, designs, and text with order details before engraving.
- Perform quality checks on engraved items to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Conduct routine cleaning, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of engraving equipment.
- Prepare products for shipping, including packaging and labeling of personalized items.
- Manage inventory of engraving materials and report shortages.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with production and fulfillment teams to meet daily output goals.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in operating laser engraving equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and order forms.
- Basic computer literacy for machine control software.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator).
- Experience with various materials for engraving (wood, metal, plastic, glass).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
