Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Car Haulers to join our dynamic team in Provo, UT. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload vehicles of various types using specialized car-hauling equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any issues.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation of all deliveries and inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members regarding transport status and any potential delays.
- Ensure the securement of vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable car hauling experience.
- Proven ability to operate specialized car hauling equipment (stinger, soft tie, etc.).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading vehicles and securing cargo.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various vehicle types (luxury, classic, oversized).
- Certification in hazardous materials (HAZMAT) endorsement (if required for certain loads).
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and transportation management systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
