Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Violin Teacher with a strong classical focus to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional pedagogical skills, a deep understanding of violin technique and repertoire, and a passion for inspiring students from diverse backgrounds. This on-site role involves delivering engaging and effective private and group lessons, preparing students for recitals and examinations, and contributing to the vibrant musical community of the Conservatory. We are looking for an individual committed to nurturing talent and upholding the highest standards of classical music education.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality individual and group violin instruction with a strong emphasis on classical technique and repertoire.
- Develop customized lesson plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student, from beginner to advanced levels.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, and standardized music examinations.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Maintain open and effective communication with students and parents regarding progress, expectations, and performance opportunities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and Conservatory events.
- Contribute to the positive and professional learning environment of the Conservatory.
