Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Government Adoption Services Assistant to join our Public Sector Consulting team in Roseville, California. This on-site role is crucial for supporting our efforts in facilitating and streamlining government adoption services, ensuring efficient processes and positive outcomes. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to project teams working with state and local government agencies involved in child welfare and adoption programs. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to public service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to project managers and team members, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing presentations.
- Assist in the research and compilation of data related to government adoption policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Help prepare reports, proposals, and other client-facing documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Coordinate logistics for workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder meetings, both virtual and in-person.
- Maintain organized records, databases, and filing systems for project documentation.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, government clients, and external partners as needed.
- Support the development and implementation of communication strategies for adoption service initiatives.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables, alerting team members to potential delays or issues.
- Perform general office duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Roseville office and support team activities.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous administrative or office support experience, preferably in a government or public sector environment.
- Familiarity with child welfare or adoption processes and terminology.
- Experience with project management tools or CRM systems.
