Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and report changes to appropriate medical staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate intervention as needed.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Specialty certification (e.g., Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, Emergency Nursing).
- Experience in multiple clinical specialties.
