Job Description

Hedkandi Salon is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Braider Assistant to join our vibrant team in Calgary. This role is perfect for someone with high energy who loves working with people and is keen to master the art of braiding and salon operations. You’ll be an integral part of our team, supporting our senior braiders and stylists, ensuring our clients receive a seamless and luxurious experience. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead braiders and stylists with client preparation and hair sectioning.
- Prepare braiding stations, ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with all necessary tools and products.
- Provide excellent client service, including greeting clients, offering beverages, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Shampoo, condition, and detangle hair efficiently and gently.
- Help maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the salon, including sweeping, laundry, and sanitizing tools.
- Learn and apply various braiding techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Manage appointment scheduling and client check-ins/check-outs as needed.
- Support inventory management by assisting with product stocking and organization.
