Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Touring Limo Chauffeur with a dedicated focus on the music and entertainment industry. This specialized role requires an individual with an impeccable driving record, profound knowledge of the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area (including Northern Virginia and Maryland), and a proven ability to provide discreet and reliable transportation for touring artists, musicians, and other high-profile entertainment figures. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the flexibility to adapt to dynamic tour schedules and unique client needs. This is a critical role ensuring the comfort, safety, and punctuality of our most discerning clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients, primarily touring music and entertainment professionals, to and from various locations including airports, venues, hotels, and private residences.
- Adhere strictly to tour schedules and itineraries, managing time effectively to ensure punctuality for all appointments.
- Maintain the highest standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections.
- Exercise utmost discretion and confidentiality regarding client information and travel details.
- Assist clients with luggage, equipment, and other personal items as needed, providing courteous and attentive service.
- Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and real-time traffic updates to avoid delays.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, tour managers, and clients.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Be flexible with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by tour schedules.
Required Skills
- Valid Chauffeur's License (or equivalent commercial driver's license)
- Impeccable driving record with no at-fault accidents or major violations
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably in luxury transportation
- Extensive knowledge of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, including Northern Virginia and Maryland
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
- Ability to operate luxury sedans, SUVs, and vans with expertise
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Availability for flexible hours, including overnight travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically chauffeuring touring artists or VIPs in the entertainment industry
- Advanced defensive driving certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Familiarity with concert venues, recording studios, and entertainment hubs in the region
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
