Key Responsibilities

• Learn to perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication on all pinsetter machines, lane equipment, and automatic scoring systems.
• Assist senior mechanics with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Ensure all bowling equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and adhere to a strict maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including tools, parts inventory, and equipment room.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to equipment breakdowns and service calls during operating hours.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, promoting a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Required Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn complex machinery.
• Basic understanding and comfort with using hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to follow instructions, diagrams, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and work in various positions.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hands-on or mechanical role (e.g., automotive repair, general maintenance, manufacturing) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety.
• A passion for bowling or the entertainment industry.
