Job Description

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Beverage Canning Line Workers. This is an immediate hire opportunity for dedicated individuals who thrive in a dynamic setting. You will be an integral part of our canning operation, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of our wide range of beverages. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor canning line machinery, including fillers, sealers, and labelers.
- Perform quality checks on products and packaging to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Load raw materials and packaging components onto the production line.
- Monitor product flow and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to maintain continuous operation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing regular sanitation tasks.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic preventative maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
- Record production data and complete necessary documentation accurately.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and operating machinery.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from our London facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in food or beverage.
- Experience operating canning or bottling equipment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
