Job Description

Labatt Breweries of Canada is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Beverage Canning Line Workers. This is an immediate hire opportunity for dedicated individuals who thrive in a dynamic setting. You will be an integral part of our canning operation, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of our wide range of beverages. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor canning line machinery, including fillers, sealers, and labelers.
  • Perform quality checks on products and packaging to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Load raw materials and packaging components onto the production line.
  • Monitor product flow and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to maintain continuous operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, performing regular sanitation tasks.
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
  • Record production data and complete necessary documentation accurately.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and operating machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
  • Reliable transportation to and from our London facility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in food or beverage.
  • Experience operating canning or bottling equipment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Forklift certification or experience operating powered industrial trucks.
