Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and dedicated Residential Concierge to join our team at a premier luxury residential building in downtown Vancouver. This role requires commitment to 12-hour shifts, ensuring the highest level of service and security for our discerning residents. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Manage access control, monitoring security systems and ensuring the safety and privacy of residents and property.
  • Receive and distribute packages, mail, and deliveries efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate with building management, maintenance staff, and external service providers to facilitate repairs, services, and resident requests.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor information.
  • Assist residents with various requests, including booking amenities, arranging transportation, and providing local recommendations.
  • Respond to emergencies and critical situations with calm professionalism, following established protocols.
  • Uphold the highest standards of presentation for the lobby and common areas, reporting any deficiencies.
  • Foster a welcoming and secure environment for all residents and visitors.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality, residential, or customer service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, resourceful approach.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, property management software).
  • Ability to maintain composure and professional demeanor under pressure.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and professional attitude.
  • Valid BC Security License (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with luxury residential property management systems.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to Vancouver's diverse population (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi).
  • Prior experience in a concierge or front desk role within a high-end hotel or residential building.
