Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and meticulous individuals to join our team as an Ambulance Deep Cleaner. This crucial role involves maintaining exceptional hygiene standards for our ambulance fleet during night shifts, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for both patients and paramedics. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough deep cleaning and disinfection of ambulance interiors, including patient compartments, cabins, and all medical equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control protocols and health and safety guidelines (e.g., COSHH).
- Clean and sanitise all surfaces, high-touch areas, and floorings using approved cleaning agents and techniques.
- Properly dispose of medical waste, general waste, and sharps in accordance with strict company and regulatory procedures.
- Inspect vehicles to identify areas requiring additional attention or report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring availability for all shifts.
- Work efficiently and effectively during night shifts to ensure ambulances are cleaned to the highest standard and ready for service.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities as required.
Required Skills
- Proven attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established cleaning protocols meticulously.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
