Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Xbox Game Studios is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Game Tester to join our team in Pasco, WA. This is an entry-level opportunity to get your foot in the door of the dynamic gaming industry. You will be instrumental in identifying and documenting bugs, glitches, and other issues to ensure the highest quality for our upcoming titles. Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases across various game platforms and devices.
- Identify, reproduce, and accurately document software defects and discrepancies using bug tracking systems.
- Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports including steps to reproduce, actual results, and expected results.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure issues are understood and resolved.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Contribute to the improvement of test processes and methodologies.
- Provide constructive feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
- Stay up-to-date with current gaming trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games across various genres and platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office software.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test procedures accurately.
