Job Description
We are seeking diligent and enthusiastic individuals for direct hire roles in picking and packing operations on a farm within our network, located in Gateshead. This is an excellent opportunity to join the agricultural sector, learn valuable skills, and contribute to the harvesting and preparation of fresh produce. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those looking for immediate start work with top tips for efficient practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual picking of various agricultural produce following quality guidelines.
- Efficiently pack produce into designated containers or packaging materials.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards before packing and shipment.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations on the farm.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Operate basic farm machinery or equipment as required, following training.
- Work collaboratively with the farm team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
