Job Description
Are you a motivated 14-year-old looking for your first job experience in a fun and fast-paced environment? Levy Restaurants is seeking enthusiastic and responsible teens to join our Concession Stand Crew for sports and stadium events in Evanston, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop customer service skills, and be part of the vibrant atmosphere of live events.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash and card transactions.
- Prepare simple food items such as popcorn, hot dogs, and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession stands and work areas.
- Restock inventory as needed throughout events.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years old and eligible to work in Illinois.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or volunteer roles is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules.
