Job Description
Are you skilled with tools and enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a project come together? IKEA is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Flat Pack Assemblers to join our network of independent contractors in the Windsor area. This flexible gig role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. You will be responsible for assembling IKEA furniture in customers’ homes, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for every client. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations within the Windsor area as scheduled.
- Efficiently and accurately assemble a wide range of IKEA flat-pack furniture products, following instruction manuals precisely.
- Ensure all assembled items are secure, stable, and meet IKEA's quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Manage your schedule and appointments effectively, communicating any changes or delays proactively.
- Maintain and transport your own essential tools required for furniture assembly.
- Handle furniture components with care to prevent damage during assembly.
- Clean up the work area after assembly, removing all packaging and debris.

- Proven experience in furniture assembly or a strong aptitude for DIY projects.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams accurately.
