Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Harvest Workers to join our team for the upcoming season in Truro, Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for outdoor, physical work, with the added benefit of free transport provided from Truro city center directly to the farm site. No previous experience is required, as full training will be given. You will play a crucial role in harvesting various crops, ensuring they are picked and packed to the highest standards. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are reliable, and are eager to contribute to a productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully harvest a variety of crops according to quality standards and picking techniques.
- Sort, grade, and pack produce in the fields, adhering to hygiene and food safety guidelines.
- Operate basic farm machinery or equipment under supervision, if required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations on site.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
- Report any issues with crop quality, equipment, or safety to a supervisor immediately.
