Job Description
Are you a high school student aged 15 or older looking for your first job experience? McDonald’s in Greenwich is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our afternoon crew. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop teamwork and customer service skills, and earn money in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We offer consistent afternoon shifts from 4pm to 8pm, perfect for fitting around school schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and drink orders
- Prepare food items according to McDonald's standards and food safety regulations
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, and restrooms
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Assist with stocking inventory and keeping supplies organized
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
Required Skills
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Ability to work afternoon shifts (4pm-8pm)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not essential
- A passion for providing excellent service to customers
