Job Description
As a Tax Advice Data Verifier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to tax advice. This 100% remote position involves meticulously reviewing, cross-referencing, and validating various datasets to support our tax advisory services. You will work with diverse financial documents and databases, applying strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough verification of financial data, tax documentation, and client records.
- Cross-reference information across multiple systems and sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or missing information in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with tax advisors and other finance professionals to resolve data inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all verification activities.
- Adhere to data privacy regulations and internal security protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on tax regulations and data verification best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data entry, data verification, or a related administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in using data management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of financial data or accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a tax, auditing, or financial services environment.
