Job Description
Quintessentially is seeking an exceptionally skilled and discreet Private Estate Driver to provide premium transportation services for a high-profile client at their private residence in North Inglewood. This crucial role involves ensuring the safe, punctual, and comfortable travel of the client and their guests, maintaining the fleet of luxury vehicles, and exhibiting utmost professionalism at all times. This position offers the potential for live-in accommodation, providing a unique opportunity to integrate seamlessly into the estate’s operations and offer dedicated support. The ideal candidate will possess an impeccable driving record, advanced driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a deep understanding of etiquette required in a private estate setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport the client and their guests to various destinations, adhering to schedules and preferred routes.
- Maintain a fleet of luxury vehicles, ensuring they are always impeccably clean, fueled, and in excellent mechanical condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Plan efficient routes, considering traffic, weather, and client preferences, utilizing navigation tools effectively.
- Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, and other items as required.
- Ensure the security and privacy of the client at all times, demonstrating discretion and confidentiality.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing safety above all else.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating needs and offering assistance with professionalism.
- Manage vehicle registrations, insurance, and service appointments.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel, as required by the client's schedule.
Required Skills
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (DMV report required).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional private driving experience for high-net-worth individuals or executive transport.
- Advanced defensive driving skills and knowledge of secure transportation practices.
- Exceptional knowledge of the Los Angeles area and proficient use of GPS and navigation apps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and manage vehicle upkeep schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury vehicle maintenance and operation (e.g., Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz S-Class).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Security driving training or equivalent certification.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Previous experience working in a private household or estate environment.
