Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dairy Farm Worker to join our team in Llandaff, Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal welfare and keen to contribute to the daily operations of a modern dairy farm. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of dairy farming, ensuring the health and productivity of our herd and maintaining farm facilities to the highest standards. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for an enthusiastic individual looking to start a career in agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Milking cows efficiently and hygienically using modern milking equipment.
- Feeding and watering livestock, ensuring proper nutrition.
- Monitoring animal health and welfare, reporting any issues to the farm manager.
- Cleaning and maintaining sheds, pens, and milking parlours.
- Assisting with calving and care of youngstock.
- Operating farm machinery and equipment safely (training provided).
- General farm maintenance and upkeep.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
