Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our weekend team as Bouncy Castle Delivery & Setup Assistants. This is a crucial role involving the safe delivery, professional setup, and efficient dismantling of bouncy castles and other inflatable equipment. The position requires heavy lifting and is primarily a weekend role, perfect for those looking for flexible part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload bouncy castles and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Transport equipment to various event locations across Maidstone and surrounding areas.
- Professionally set up bouncy castles according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in excellent working order before and after use.
- Brief clients on safe operation and emergency procedures for the inflatable equipment.
- Dismantle, clean, and pack away bouncy castles efficiently after events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Bounce Kingdom Maidstone positively.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks repeatedly.
- Full UK driving license (Category B minimum) with a clean record.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and occasional bank holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in event setup, delivery, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Experience driving larger vans (e.g., long wheel base transit van).
- Knowledge of basic first aid.
- Familiarity with bouncy castle safety standards.
