Job Description
Are you an energetic individual who loves staying active and working outdoors? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Trolley Collection Hand to join our team in Aberdeen. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers always have access to clean, safe, and readily available shopping trolleys. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a physically active job and contributing to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently collect shopping trolleys from various locations within the car park and surrounding areas.
- Organize and return trolleys to designated bays inside and outside the store.
- Ensure trolleys are clean, well-maintained, and safe for customer use.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the car park, store entrance, and surrounding areas.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers, including directions or general inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Work effectively as part of a team to support store operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sun, wind).
- Excellent physical fitness, capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and possesses a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a tidy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physically demanding or outdoor role.
- Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety practices.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
