Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start role that offers flexibility and a great team environment? Pickfords is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Movers / General Labourers to join our Walthamstow team. No prior experience is required – we provide all necessary training! This is an excellent opportunity for students or anyone looking to gain practical experience, earn competitive wages, and contribute to a supportive moving crew. You will assist with loading, unloading, packing, and general labour tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient moving process for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving vehicles.
- Carefully pack and unpack clients' belongings, using appropriate packing materials.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
- Operate moving equipment and tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment on-site and in company vehicles.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent injuries and damage.
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting professionally with clients.
- Assist team members with various general labour tasks as needed.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
