Job Description
Are you passionate about photography and video, with a natural flair for teaching and inspiring others? Apple is looking for a dynamic and engaging Creative to join our team in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. In this role, you will be the face of Apple’s creative learning experiences, leading workshops and one-on-one sessions that empower customers to explore their creativity with Apple products. You’ll demonstrate how to capture stunning photos and cinematic videos using iPhones and other Apple devices, guiding users through editing techniques, storytelling, and sharing their creations. This is a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise with your love for teaching, all within the innovative and supportive environment of an Apple Store.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engaging group workshops and individual coaching sessions on photography and video creation using Apple products.
- Educate customers on core photographic principles, videography techniques, and visual storytelling.
- Demonstrate features and capabilities of iPhone cameras, Mac photo/video editing software (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Final Cut Pro), and relevant third-party apps.
- Provide expert advice and troubleshooting for customers regarding their creative projects and Apple devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Apple products, software updates, and creative trends.
- Inspire and build confidence in customers of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced users.
- Support overall store operations and customer service as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in photography and videography techniques, including composition, lighting, and editing.
- Expertise in using iPhone cameras and native photo/video editing tools (e.g., Photos, iMovie).
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and enthusiastically.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, training, or public speaking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a creative or educational capacity within a retail setting.
- Familiarity with professional photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Experience with other Apple creative applications (e.g., GarageBand, Pages, Keynote).
- A portfolio showcasing photography and/or video work.
