Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Escalator Step Cleaner to join our night shift team in a major shopping mall in Berlin. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the pristine appearance and operational safety of our client’s escalators. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning escalator steps and surrounding areas, ensuring they are free from dirt, debris, and grime before the mall opens to the public. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of escalator steps, risers, and handrails using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Inspect escalators for any damage or malfunctions and report findings to the supervisor immediately.
- Remove debris, dust, and spills from escalator areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures while operating cleaning machinery and handling chemicals.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any needs for repair or replacement.
- Work independently and efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within the designated night shift hours.
- Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure overall cleanliness of the mall premises.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and environmental protection.
