Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Music Warehouse Associate to join our Victorville distribution center. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of musical instruments and related accessories, focusing on both inbound receiving and outbound shipping operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of musical instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Carefully unpack, sort, and organize products into designated warehouse locations.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare musical instruments for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
  • Process shipping labels, documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
  • Perform quality checks on all outgoing products to ensure they meet Guitar Center's standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and achieve daily operational goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory management and shipping software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving role.
  • Familiarity with musical instruments or audio equipment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
