Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Part-time Glass Collector to join our dynamic nightlife team for weekend shifts. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and smooth operation of our busy bars and lounges, ensuring a pristine environment for our guests to enjoy. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect empty glasses, bottles, and other barware from tables, bars, and service areas throughout the night.
  • Sort and transport collected items to the dishwashing area efficiently and safely.
  • Assist bartenders and bar staff by restocking clean glasses, ice, and other supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping spills.
  • Monitor and empty trash receptacles regularly, ensuring sanitary conditions.
  • Report any breakages or spills promptly to bar management.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the entire bar and service team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide excellent guest service by responding to requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability to work weekend evenings, including late nights and holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a hospitality or nightlife setting is a plus, but not required.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
