Job Description
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Industrial Packer! This role is critical in ensuring our high-quality automotive components and finished products are safely and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for meticulous packing, labeling, and inspection of goods, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. We offer a stable Monday to Friday schedule and a top hourly rate for dedicated and reliable individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, wrap, and prepare finished products and components for shipment.
- Perform quality checks on items to ensure they meet specifications before packaging.
- Apply correct labels, stickers, and shipping documentation to packages.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
- Report any damaged or defective items immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packing environment.
- Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack (certification a plus).
- High school diploma or GED.
