Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Janitorial Staff member to join our team in Buffalo, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our warehouse facility, ensuring a safe and hygienic working environment for all employees. This position requires an individual who is capable of working independently, managing their time effectively, and taking pride in their work to uphold our high standards of facility maintenance. Your efforts will directly contribute to the overall efficiency and comfort of our operational site.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties in the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas regularly.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to established procedures.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, shelving, and equipment.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to cleaning and waste management.
- Identify and report any maintenance issues or hazards to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weights, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications
