Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-time Receptionist to join our team at our Etobicoke local office for the morning shift. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This position is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. This is an on-site role, requiring your physical presence at our office during scheduled morning hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area and common spaces
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including data entry and filing
- Handle general inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or resources
- Operate standard office equipment, such as multi-line phone systems, photocopiers, and computers
- Ensure security protocols are followed for visitors and access to the office
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or customer service role (6+ months preferred)
- Familiarity with financial services industry (asset, but not required)
