Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Student Production Workers to join our New Port Richey factory environment for a temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about production processes, quality control, and factory operations. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic team, committed to safety, and interested in understanding the journey of our products from raw materials to store shelves.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with various tasks on the production line, including sorting, packaging, and labeling products.
- Support machine operators and technicians in basic equipment operation and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with inventory management and material handling as directed.
- Learn and apply quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic factory environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a high school or post-secondary education program.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting (even school projects).
- Interest in operations, supply chain, or engineering.
