Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shopify Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of our online store, from product listing and inventory management to order processing and customer experience optimization. You will be the go-to person for all operational aspects of our Shopify site, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and a seamless shopping journey for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of product listings, including descriptions, imagery, pricing, and categorization on the Shopify platform.
- Monitor and update inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock representation and coordinating with warehouse teams.
- Oversee the order fulfillment process, tracking orders from placement to delivery and resolving any related issues.
- Manage customer service inquiries related to the Shopify site, working closely with the customer support team to ensure timely and effective resolutions.
- Implement and test new features, apps, and functionalities on the Shopify store to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor site performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize speed, usability, and conversion rates.
- Ensure all website content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines and promotional activities.
- Generate and analyze reports on sales, traffic, inventory, and customer behavior to inform operational decisions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing a Shopify e-commerce store.
- Proficient in Shopify platform administration, including theme customization, app integration, and settings management.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including inventory, order fulfillment, and customer service workflows.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on the Shopify platform.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) to monitor and report on performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Shopify Plus or advanced Shopify apps.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor site adjustments.
- Familiarity with digital marketing principles (SEO, SEM, email marketing).
- Experience in project management or coordinating with cross-functional teams.
