Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a developer who is passionate about e-commerce, user experience, and building robust, scalable Shopify solutions. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify themes and apps, integrating third-party services, and optimizing stores for performance and conversion. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify store functionality.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate closely with designers, marketing specialists, and project managers to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debug issues, and ensure high-quality code standards.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify platform updates, new technologies, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to internal tools and processes to improve development workflows.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience with Shopify theme development.
- Proficiency in Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Shopify's APIs and custom app development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Headless Shopify implementations (e.g., using React, Vue.js, or Next.js).
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
- Experience with popular Shopify apps and their integration.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
