Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our innovative research and development team. This is a direct hire position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to groundbreaking scientific discoveries. The successful candidate will support various research projects by performing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of laboratory experiments following established protocols, including molecular biology, cell culture, and biochemical assays.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and media accurately and precisely.
  • Collect, record, and organize experimental data meticulously, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning and calibration.
  • Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents.
  • Analyze data, interpret results, and prepare summaries for presentation to senior researchers.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive research culture.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, sterile technique, solution preparation).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior research experience in an academic or industry laboratory setting.
  • Experience with cell culture techniques.
  • Familiarity with data analysis software.
  • Knowledge of GxP regulations (GLP, GMP).
