Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Charity Donation Sorter Auditor with a philanthropy focus to join our casual team in Cleveland. In this vital role, you will be responsible for meticulously sorting incoming donations, ensuring quality control, and auditing processes to maximize the value of donated goods. Your work directly contributes to our mission by helping us efficiently process items that fund our critical community programs. This position requires a keen eye for detail, an understanding of item valuation, and a strong commitment to our charitable goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, categorize, and sort donated items, including clothing, household goods, electronics, and furniture, according to established guidelines.
  • Perform quality checks on sorted items, identifying high-value items, damaged goods, or items unsuitable for sale.
  • Audit sorting processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sorting area.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency in donation processing.
  • Document findings and report discrepancies or areas for improvement to the supervisor.
  • Handle donations with care and respect, embodying the philanthropic spirit of the organization.

Required Skills
