Job Description
Are you a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated nanny seeking a transformative live-in opportunity? Nanny Poppinz is delighted to present an exceptional full-time live-in Nanny role for a wonderful family in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. You will be responsible for providing nurturing care, engaging in educational activities, and fostering a safe and stimulating environment for their children. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive childcare, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and putting children down for naps/bedtime.
- Organize and supervise age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist with children's homework and school projects as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's rooms.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary restrictions.
- Manage children's laundry and organize their belongings.
- Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children's development, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Administer basic first aid and medication as required, with parental permission.
- Foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in children.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable professional nanny or childcare experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to commit to a live-in role and integrate respectfully into a family household.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Child development or early childhood education coursework/degree.
- Experience with multiple children or specific age groups (e.g., toddlers, school-aged).
- Experience with special needs children (if applicable to the family's needs).
- Ability to swim for water-related activities.
- Proficiency in a second language.
