Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and tech-savvy Remote Streaming Support Consultant to join our global customer service team. This is a 100% remote position where you will be instrumental in ensuring our members have a seamless and enjoyable streaming experience. You will provide top-tier technical support and customer service, troubleshooting streaming issues, account inquiries, and general platform guidance. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for entertainment technology. As a Remote Streaming Support Consultant, you will be the direct point of contact for our members, resolving complex issues with empathy and efficiency, all from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for Netflix streaming services via phone, chat, and email.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to streaming quality, device compatibility, account access, and billing.
  • Educate members on platform features, new content, and optimal viewing experiences.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to specialized teams when necessary, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Stay updated on new Netflix features, content, and technological advancements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in a remote environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot various devices (Smart TVs, gaming consoles, mobile devices, web browsers).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and remote support tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • High-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate customer concerns and provide solutions under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with streaming media platforms or digital entertainment services.
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, routers, modems).
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.
