Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Summer Hotel Housekeepers to join our resort teams in Colchester, Essex. This temporary role is perfect for individuals looking for a dynamic summer job, offering the chance to work in a vibrant hospitality environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, ensuring every room and public area is pristine and inviting.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to Premier Inn's rigorous standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms as needed.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and common restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to management.
- Handle guest requests and queries politely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned duties within given deadlines.
Required Skills
- High level of attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing, bending, and lifting during shifts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Punctual and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role (though not essential, as full training will be provided).
- Familiarity with hospitality cleaning procedures and chemicals.
