Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and categorize a wide variety of toys based on designated criteria (e.g., product type, store destination, season).
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records.
- Inspect toys for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.
- Efficiently move and stack boxes of varying sizes and weights.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals and ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other equipment safely and effectively after proper training.
Required Skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sorting and scanning.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and reach for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
