Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, have excellent listening skills, and can type accurately and quickly? We are seeking dedicated Online Transcriptionists to join our remote team, focusing specifically on transcribing audio content geared towards 14-year-old teens. This could include educational videos, podcasts, interviews, and other media designed for this age group. This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly from anywhere and get paid for your typing skills, contributing to content accessibility for a young audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to audio and video recordings with content relevant to 14-year-old teens.
- Accurately transcribe spoken words into written text, ensuring correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Identify and label different speakers within the audio.
- Meet strict deadlines and maintain high quality standards for all transcriptions.
- Follow specific client guidelines and style guides for each project.
- Review and proofread your own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- High typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with word processing software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

- Previous experience in transcription, even informal projects.
- Familiarity with various accents and dialects.
- Experience with transcription software and tools.
