Job Description
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and eager to learn a highly specialized trade? NDX Aloha Dental Lab is seeking a dedicated Dental Lab Assistant to join our team in Honolulu. This is an incredible opportunity for someone with excellent manual dexterity and a passion for fine craftsmanship, even if you have no prior dental lab experience. We provide comprehensive, hands-on training for the right candidate who demonstrates precision, patience, and a strong work ethic. In this role, you will assist our skilled technicians in various stages of dental prosthetic fabrication, contributing to the creation of custom dental devices that restore smiles and improve lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior dental technicians with the preparation and pouring of models from dental impressions.
- Perform fine manual tasks such as trimming, waxing, and polishing dental prosthetics (e.g., crowns, bridges, dentures).
- Organize and maintain laboratory tools, equipment, and workstations, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency.
- Accurately record and track case information, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Learn and master various lab procedures and techniques through hands-on training.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding case status and workflow.
- Handle and store lab materials according to manufacturer guidelines.

- Basic understanding of anatomy, especially oral anatomy (not required, but a plus).
