Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nursery Potting Assistant for a sit-down role at our Idaho Falls Garden Center. This position is ideal for individuals of all ages who enjoy working with plants in a relaxed, steady environment. As a key member of our garden team, you will contribute to the health and vitality of our plant inventory, ensuring they are ready for our customers. This role emphasizes precision and care over heavy physical exertion.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pot and repot various plants, flowers, and shrubs according to specific guidelines.
- Label potted plants accurately with essential information.
- Prepare potting mixes and ensure proper soil levels.
- Inspect plants for signs of pests or disease and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized potting station.
- Assist with other light nursery tasks as needed, such as watering small plants or arranging pots.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
