Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Tally Clerk to join our FedEx Logistics team in New Port Richey, Florida. This critical role focuses entirely on accurate data entry, inventory tallying, and database management, with no direct phone communication responsibilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the precise tracking and reconciliation of shipments, goods, and materials within our advanced logistics systems. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tally and verify incoming and outgoing shipments, goods, and materials against manifests, invoices, and other documentation.
- Perform precise data entry into internal logistics databases and inventory management systems.
- Identify and report discrepancies in counts, quantities, or product information promptly.
- Maintain organized records and digital files of all tallied items and related documentation.
- Assist in generating inventory reports and contributing to data accuracy initiatives.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth flow of information and materials.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and numerical tasks.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Demonstrated experience with database entry and management (specific system experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
