Job Description

We are seeking a highly meticulous Electronic Component Sorter to join our dynamic team in St. John’s, NL. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our inventory and distribution operations. The Electronic Component Sorter will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, sorting, and organizing a wide variety of electronic components. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments of electronic components and verify against packing lists for accuracy.
  • Carefully inspect components for damage, defects, and correct labeling.
  • Sort and categorize electronic components according to type, size, part number, and other specifications.
  • Accurately label and store components in designated inventory locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the sorting area.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare sorted components for outbound shipments or internal transfers.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status or issues.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and diagrams.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
